Class A CDL Drivers

SUMMARY:

This position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW with air brakes, to safety transport materials to and from customers.

May be required to unload truck.

Requires commercial drivers’ license.

General operating hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday or, as necessary until job is complete or conditions are too dangerous. Hours can vary depending on work load and schedule of deliveries and pick-ups. During seasonal or busy times, overtime may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
-Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, in order to transport and deliver products.
-Check vehicles before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
-Maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, hydraulics and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
-Track vehicle expenses and turn in expense receipts
-Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles in written form to AMP2 office.
-Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
-Follow appropriate safety procedures when transporting goods.
-Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
-Report, in writing, vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
-Obtain receipts or signatures when loads are delivered, and collect payment for services when required.
-Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
-Identify and learn materials transported.
-Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
-Move transported materials with forklift
-Secure cargo for transport, using straps with ratchets, blocks, chain, binders, and/or covers.
-Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.
-Read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
-Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
-Maintain neat and clean personal appearance, on a daily basis, in order to project a positive company image to customers
-Maintain clean and orderly truck
-Train / Educate new employees to a level and degree of performing duties on their own
-Maintain regular attendance.
-Other assignments as determined by management including assisting in other trucks or Yard Driver when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Six (6) months to 1 driving experience

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Pass DOT physical and drug screening. Wisconsin State Class CDL. Good driving record.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as maps, safety procedures, transportation policies, work logs and customer billing information. Ability to respond and provide information to supervisors, co-workers, customers and vendors, in English, in verbal and in written form.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Knowledge of arithmetic. Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percent.

Maintenance Technician

Full-Time Position

Summary:
Performs maintenance to keep machinery, mechanical equipment and building structures in repair and working order.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs, as necessary.

-Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

-Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.

-Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

-Diagnose and repair forklifts.

-Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches and electrical equipment.

-Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.

-Record maintenance and repair work performed.

-Identify and order appropriate replacement parts.

-Prioritize tasks and work independently without direct supervision.

-Ability to do light electrical maintenance.

-Maintain regular attendance.

-Other assignments as determined by management.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of arithmetic. Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to determine when in-house maintenance is not appropriate and outside vendors must be used. The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). The ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged. The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work out of doors in all weather conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, use varied hand and power tools, drive a motor vehicle and/or heavy construction equipment; lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment; vision to read printed materials, auditory attention/hearing sensitivity to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical/maintenance problems. Ability to distinguish frequencies and sounds, color codes and odors in the operation of equipment in order to troubleshoot for repairs. Ability to bend, crawl, and kneel to access areas requiring repair or installation. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to observe and report unsafe working conditions.

Licenses & Certifications:
Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Equipment & Tools:
Must possess appropriate maintenance & mechanical tools and bring them to the work-site. Must provide own transportation.

General Labor - Forklift Operator

Forklift experience with ability to work indoor as well as outdoor. Working on sustainable and high value projects. We are a family owned company and will train.
