Aluminum is a lightweight, durable, and highly versatile metal. It is commonly found in everyday items such as beverage cans, as well as in industrial applications like window frames, siding, vehicle parts, and aircraft components. Recycling aluminum saves nearly 95 percent of the energy required to produce the metal from raw bauxite ore, making it one of the most environmentally impactful materials you can recycle.

We accept everything from clean aluminum extrusions and cast aluminum to painted siding and aluminum wheels. Frequently Asked Questions

What types of steel items do you accept?

We accept a vast array of steel items, including old household appliances (like washers and dryers), automotive parts, structural steel beams, farm equipment, and general sheet metal. If you are unsure whether your specific steel item is accepted, please contact our team for clarification.

Do I need to strip the insulation off my copper wire before bringing it in?

You do not have to strip the insulation off your copper wire. We accept both bare and insulated copper wire. However, bare bright copper typically yields a higher price per pound than insulated wire. If you have the time and tools to strip it safely, it may increase your payout, but we are happy to accept and process it either way.

Should I crush my aluminum cans before bringing them to the facility?

Crushing your aluminum cans is entirely optional. While crushing them saves space in your vehicle and makes them easier for you to transport, it does not affect the price we pay per pound. As long as the cans are empty and relatively clean, we will gladly accept them in whatever form is most convenient for you.
